The purpose of this study was to review previous studies on this field and to identify the factors that make public health nurses possible to progress effectively SC of the target population. The results showed that progressing SC may be influenced by the constructs of PM: Decisional balance, Self-efficacy and Processes of change. The community to which the target belongs on, also, may influence the progress of SC. However, the concept of PM and SC arenʼt effectively utilized to progress behavioral change in the actual health guidance field.
